Nebraska High School Softball - Wilber-Clatonia bounces Falls City

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines softball team scored a tight 10-6 victory over the Falls City Tigers.

The Wolverines (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Lexington (Lexington, NE). The Minutemen go into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Lexington was routed by Northwest (Grand Island, NE), 18-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE) in a C District match, on Tuesday, August 27. Falls City will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 3-1 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Gering (Gering, NE).
