With the triumph, Fort Cobb-Broxton improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Ninnekah (Ninnekah, OK) to play the Owls in a Class A game on Friday, August 30. The Owls enter the game with a record of 0-10.

The Tigers now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Alex for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 3. Verden will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 11-9 league loss to Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-8.
