In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Hastings Tigers softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the McCook Bison.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Bennington (Bennington, NE). The Badgers go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Bennington was routed by Gretna (Gretna, NE), 13-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bison battle the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 3. McCook will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Haymakers go into the match with a 4-3 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Mercy (Omaha, NE).
