The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) and the visiting Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), observed Hillgrove's softball team get by Paulding County by a final score of 5-0.

The Hawks (9-5) will now prepare for their bout against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Hoyas go into the 6A Region 3 bout with a 11-3 record. In their last bout, Harrison tipped McEachern (Powder Springs, GA), 10-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, August 28. Paulding County will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 11-4 league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA).
