The Pierce County Bears triumphed over the visiting Tattnall County Warriors softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Bears play the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Pierce County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Effingham County (Springfield, GA).

The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Cougars enter the 2A Region 3 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Crisp County was routed by Cook (Adel, GA), 5-0, in a league challenge.
