In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Columbus Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Aberdeen Bulldogs.

The Falcons (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Chargers come into the Class 6A Region 2 challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Callaway was beaten by Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) in a Class 3A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Aberdeen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
