Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grundy Center improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to South Hardin (Eldora, IA) to face the Tigers in a test on Tuesday, September 3. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 5-2. South Hardin won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA)

The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iowa Falls-Alden for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. AGWSR will face a Cadets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 0-1.
