The Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chester for a non-league game on Friday, August 30. Anahuac will confront a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Latexo (Latexo, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 14-8.

The Longhorns (9-10) will now prepare for their game against Diboll (Diboll, TX). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Diboll was dropped by Buna (Buna, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
