In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Owensboro Catholic Aces volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Apollo Eagles.

The Aces (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Castle (Newburgh, IN). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record.

Next, the Eagles play the Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Apollo will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Trinity (Whitesville, KY).
