The NCSSM: Morganton Dragons volleyball squad (Morganton, NC), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC)

With the win, Avery County improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Rosman (Rosman, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a Western Highlands 1A/2A battle on Thursday, August 29. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Rosman lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC)

The Dragons now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Heritage for a Western Highlands 1A/2A battle on Thursday, August 29.
