Florida High School Volleyball - Victory Christian Academy over Avon Park

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Victory Christian Academy Storm (Lakeland, FL) and the visiting Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL), observed Victory Christian Academy's volleyball team top Avon Park by a count of 3-1.

The Storm (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cambridge Christian (Tampa, FL). The Lancers enter the 2A District 6 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Cambridge Christian notched a victory over Seven Rivers Christian (Lecanto, FL), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Red Devils battle the Tenoroc Titans (Lakeland, FL) in a 4A District 9 contest, on Friday, August 30. Avon Park will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mater Brighton Lakes Academy (Kissimmee, FL).
