The Cardinals (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Byers (Holly Springs, MS). The Lions enter the Class 1A Region 2 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Byers was beaten by Jumpertown (Booneville, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS) in a Class 1A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Byers will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Byers (Holly Springs, MS).
