Next up, the Braves face the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 29. Heard County will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a 14-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Armuchee (Rome, GA).

The Cavaliers (4-10) will now prepare for their game against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Grangers go into the non-league game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, LaGrange gained a win over Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
