Illinois High School Volleyball - Central over Cary-Grove

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) and the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), observed Central's volleyball team top Cary-Grove by a count of 2-0.

The Rockets (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers enter the Fox Valley contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Dundee-Crown was knocked off by Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Trojans battle the Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL) in a Fox Valley contest, on Thursday, August 29. Cary-Grove will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL).
