In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Orcutt Academy Spartans volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Coast Union Broncos.

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Laguna Blanca (Santa Barbara, CA). The Owls come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Laguna Blanca was nudged by St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Broncos meet the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a Coast Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Coast Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Shandon (Shandon, CA).
