Next up, the Warriors battle the New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) in a Class 5A Region 1 match, on Thursday, August 29. Pontotoc will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 8-7 record after their 3-0 league win over West Point (West Point, MS).

The Warriors (6-15) will now prepare for their match against Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 0-10 record. In their last match, Biggersville was outscored by Alcorn Central (Glen, MS), 3-0, in a non-league match.
