In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Decatur Red Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mae Jemison Jaguars.
The Red Raiders (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Athens (Athens, AL). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Athens beat Lawrence County (Moulton, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars meet the Columbia Eagles (Huntsville, AL) in a 6A Area 16 challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Mae Jemison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cullman Christian (Cullman, AL).
