The Sabers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA). The Hawks come into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Lynnville-Sully defeated Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, East Union drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lamoni (Lamoni, IA) to clash with the Demons in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. The Demons come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
