North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southern Wayne East Wake

The East Wake Warriors topped the visiting Southern Wayne Saints volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Warriors face the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a Quad County 3A game, on Thursday, August 29. East Wake will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Golden Falcons go into the game with a 2-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC).

The Saints (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Princeton went down by South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
