In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Oakwood Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Excel Christian Academy Eagles.
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Unity Christian (Rome, GA). The Lions come into the GAPPS DI-A Region 1 challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Unity Christian lost by Rome (Rome, GA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles play the Praise Academy Lions (Powder Springs, GA) in a GAPPS DI-A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Excel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over CrossPointe Christian Academy (Williamson, GA).
