North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gray's Creek over Purnell Swett

The Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bears now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Seventy-First for a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Thursday, August 29. Gray's Creek will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Purnell Swett drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Colts in a United Eight 3A/4A bout on Thursday, August 29. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Cape Fear won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
