Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Hartfield Academy Hawks (Flowood, MS) and the host Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS), observed Hartfield Academy's volleyball team hold off Jackson Prep by a count of 3-2.

The Hawks (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, St. Andrew's Episcopal was tipped by Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Patriots battle the Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 29. Jackson Prep will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record.
