North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hickory Grove Christian over Westminster Catawba Christian

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Hickory Grove Christian Lions volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Westminster Catawba Christian Indians.

The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC). The Eagles enter the NCISAA Metrolina Athletic challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Gaston Christian beat SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Westminster Catawba Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC).
