Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Woodhaven improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI) to face the Thunderbirds in a Downriver test on Thursday, September 12. The Thunderbirds go into the test with a record of 1-3.

The Chargers now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakland Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Inter-City Baptist will face a Lancers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 1-1.
