Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) and the host Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS), observed North Pike's volleyball team top Jefferson County by a tally of 3-0.

The Jaguars (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Brookhaven beat Wesson (Wesson, MS), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) in a Class 3A Region 7 contest, on Wednesday, August 28. Jefferson County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
