The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies tipped the visiting Utica Redskins volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Johnnies confront the Fredericktown Freddies (Fredericktown, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 31. Johnstown-Monroe will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Freddies enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 3-1 league win over East Knox (Howard, OH).

The Redskins (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Granville (Granville, OH). The Blue Aces enter the Licking County game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Granville held off Licking Valley (Newark, OH), 3-0, in a league game.
