Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN) and the visiting Perry County Vikings (Linden, TN), observed Lewis County's volleyball team top Perry County by a tally of 3-0.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Collinwood (Collinwood, TN). The Trojans enter the A District 11 contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Collinwood was beaten by Wilson (Florence, AL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TN) in a A District 11 contest, on Thursday, August 29. Perry County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Loretto (Loretto, TN).
