In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Oakley Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lighthouse Christian Lions.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Raft River (Malta, ID). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Raft River was beaten by Wendell (Wendell, ID), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Glenns Ferry Pilots (Glenns Ferry, ID) in a Snake River Valley challenge, on Wednesday, September 4. Lighthouse Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Rimrock (Bruneau, ID).
