The Long Beach Bearcats prevailed the visiting Pascagoula Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Bearcats confront the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) in a Class 6A Region 4 game, on Thursday, August 29. Long Beach will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 14-6 record after their 3-1 league win over George County (Lucedale, MS).

The Panthers (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Picayune (Picayune, MS). The Maroon Tide enter the Class 6A Region 4 game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Picayune was dropped by West Harrison (Gulfport, MS), 3-2, in a league game.
