In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mahanoy Area Golden Bears volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Pine Grove Cardinals.

The Golden Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Panther Valley (Lansford, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
