North Carolina High School Volleyball - Polk County over Patton

The Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Wolverines now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hendersonville for a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A bout on Thursday, August 29. Polk County will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Patton drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Freedom (Morganton, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Freedom won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Chase (Forest City, NC)
