In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Weldon Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Southeast Halifax Trojans.
The Chargers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers enter the Tar Roanoke 1A challenge with a 1-2 record.
Next, the Trojans meet the Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Southeast Halifax will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC).
