The Rams (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Milby (Houston, TX). The Buffs enter the 5A Region III District 21 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Milby notched a victory over Spring Woods (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Raiders battle the Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 contest, on Friday, August 30. Sterling will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Apollos enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Madison (Houston, TX).
