In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Valley Christian Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Apache Junction Prospectors.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
The Prospectors now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Globe for a test on Wednesday, October 8.
