The crowd at Wednesday's league contest between the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) and the host Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK), witnessed Service's flag football squad knock off Bettye Davis East Anchorage by a tally of 32-12.

The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines enter the Cook Inlet contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, South Anchorage gained a win over Dimond (Anchorage, AK), 8-0, in a league contest.

Next up, the Thunderbirds encounter the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) in a Cook Inlet bout, on Tuesday, September 2. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record.
