The Pine Creek Eagles softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Rampart Rams to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Castle View for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 3. Pine Creek will meet a Sabercats squad coming off a 24-2 non-league win over Denver East (Denver, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 1-2.
The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cheyenne Mountain was routed by Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO), 15-10, in a non-league challenge.
