In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Deep Creek Hornets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the King's Fork Bulldogs.
The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, King's Fork was nudged by Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
