Next up, the Spartans confront the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 28. Union will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Rebels go into the game with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC).

The Gators (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Rosewood defeated James Kenan (Warsaw, NC), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
