Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Braxton County improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Roane County (Spencer, WV) to play the Raiders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Roane County lost 6-0 in their recent non-league outing against Sherman (Seth, WV)

Next up, the Patriots play the Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 30. Midland Trail will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Red Devils go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV).
