Ohio High School Soccer - Northwest nudges Manchester

August 27, 2025: Akron, OH 44319

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Northwest Indians soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Manchester Panthers.

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Coventry (Akron, OH). The Comets enter the non-league outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Coventry was edged by Triway (Wooster, OH), 10-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Orrville Red Riders (Orrville, OH) in a Principals Athletic test, on Tuesday, September 2. Manchester will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Red Riders come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 3-3 league Canton South (Canton, OH).
