With the triumph, Pinconning advances its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI) to clash with the Braves in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Braves come into the test with a record of 4-2. Tawas Area won 6-0 in their recent league test against Oscoda (Oscoda, MI)

The Bluejays now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hemlock for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. Shepherd will play a Huskies squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Clare (Clare, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 2-1.
