The Purple Hurricane enter the game with a record of 2-9. Fitzgerald lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)

The Rebels now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jeff Davis for a 1A D-I Region 1 match on Tuesday, September 2. Berrien will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 12-4 league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-3.
