The Dutchtown Bulldogs overwhelmed the host Carver Panthers softball squad by a count of 27-9 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a 5A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Dutchtown will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 7-0 league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA).

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Dutchtown achieved victory over Banneker (College Park, GA), 26-10, in a league battle.
