Tennessee High School Volleyball - Houston can't get by Arlington

August 27, 2025: Arlington, TN 38002

Arlington Tigers (Arlington, TN) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Arlington advances its record to 9-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Munford (Munford, TN) to face the Cougars in a AAA District 15 test on Thursday, September 4. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Munford lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Millington Central (Millington, TN)

Next, the Mustangs play the Trinity Catholic Celtics (Ocala, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Celtics come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, FL).
