In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Gates County Red Barons volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Washington County Panthers.

The Red Barons (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC). The Griffins enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech beat Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Washington County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
