Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies (Cynthiana, KY) and the host Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY), observed Harrison County's volleyball team top Robertson County by a count of 3-0.

The Thorobreds/Fillies (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Bluejackets go into the District 38 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Nicholas County achieved victory over St. Patrick (Maysville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Black Devils now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pendleton County for a District 38 battle on Tuesday, September 2. Robertson County will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-11.
