The Howard Huskies volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Northeast Raiders to 1 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Huskies now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Peach County for a 3A Area 1 outing on Tuesday, September 2. Howard will play a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Northeast drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Raiders host Westside (Macon, GA) to face the Seminoles in a non-league game on Thursday, September 4. The Seminoles go into the game with a record of 4-6. Westside lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Callaway (Hogansville, GA)
