In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Ishpeming Hematites volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the West Iron County Wykons.

With the win, Ishpeming advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Hematites travel to Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI) to face the Mountaineers in a Mid-Peninsula test on Thursday, September 4. The Mountaineers go into the test with a record of 2-2.

The Wykons now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calumet for a Western Peninsula test on Tuesday, September 2. West Iron County will play a Copper Kings team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over McBain (McBain, MI). The Copper Kings record now stands at 3-1.
