In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Williamston Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the New Lothrop Hornets.
The Hornets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chelsea (Chelsea, MI). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Chelsea beat Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets meet the Pennfield Panthers (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. New Lothrop will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Olivet (Olivet, MI).
