Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 3-0 in a non-league outing.

The Hornets now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host South Rowan for a South Piedmont 4A/5A outing on Thursday, August 28. Salisbury will play a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, North Rowan drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 3-4. Gray Stone Day lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC)
